Dean Raymond Buck, Sr.

Dean R. Buck Sr., of Sunbury, PA, passed away peacefully at his home on February 25, 2026.

Born on May 13, 1957, he was the son of the late Marcia and William Buck Sr. of Millville, PA. Dean attended Millville High School and proudly served in the United States Army, receiving an honorable discharge in 1987. He dedicated many years of service to PennDOT before retiring in 2024.

Dean is survived by his son, Dean R. Buck Jr. of Sunbury; his step-daughter, Brandi Nunnally of Selinsgrove; and his step-son, Shawn Nunnally of Texas. He was a proud grandfather to Kaitlin Mathias, Mahaley Mathias, Maddison Johnson, Jayme Buck, Whitney Buck, Sofia Buck, Deanna Buck, Natalie Miller, Draper Buck, and Dean R. Buck III. He is also survived by his sister, Lena Lacey; his brother, Billy Buck; and many cherished nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Dean was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Connie Ann Buck, and his sister, Jackie Sherman.

In accordance with Dean's wishes, no services will be held.
