Erica DiPaolo

Erica DiPaolo, 38, of Shamokin Dam, passed away suddenly at home on Friday, July 11, 2025.

Born on June 12, 1987, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Erica was the beloved daughter of Leon and Diana (Kipple) Holton. She grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Williamstown High School in 2005. She later attended Gloucester County Community College.

Erica dedicated her career to helping others, working as a companion caregiver with the United Cerebral Palsy Agency’s Choice program. Her gentle heart and deep empathy touched the lives of many.

Those who knew Erica will remember her as a true bookworm with an endless curiosity and love for stories. She was also a passionate crafter, always creating something with her hands, whether it was a handmade gift or a thoughtful piece of art. Her creativity and quiet strength left a lasting imprint on everyone she met.

Erica is survived by her loving parents, her brother Paul DiPaolo (April) of New Jersey, her stepbrother Leon Lewis (Thyais) of Texas, and sisters-in-love Chimere Lynn and Tiffany McCloud. She also leaves behind many adoring nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom cherished her deeply.

Erica’s warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will be remembered always and missed beyond words.
