Joseph A. Corcione

Joseph A. Corcione, 94, of 123 Queen Ave., Shamokin Dam, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at his home surrounded by loved ones.

 Born in Brooklyn, New York on June 14, 1932, to the late Antonio and Biagina (Randazzo) Corcione. He attended Bishop Loughlin High School, Brooklyn. He served in the United States Army from 1954 – 1956. 

On October 31, 1953, in St. Rita’s Church, Brooklyn, he married Ann “Dolly” Prisco, who preceded him in death. 

He was extremely proud of his position as a driver for Green Bus Lines in New York City for over two decades. Joe enjoyed working in his yard, gardening and helping others too. He also enjoyed sitting on his front porch with coffee and the many friends that would stop by to join him. 

Joseph is survived by his daughter, Gina Agoglia; two granddaughters, Christine Agoglia and Catherine Zellers and her companion, Joseph Rotzler; one grandson, Curtis Zellers II; two great-grandsons, Carter Mull and Zaedyn Rotzler; two great-granddaughters, Addyson Mull and Brielle Rotzler; and his son-in-law, Curt Zellers and his wife, Kimberly. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann “Dolly” Prisco Corcione; his parents, Antonio and Biagina (Randazzo) Corcione; his longtime companion of 30 years, Grace Lepore; one great-grandson, Conner Agoglia-Cobb; and several brothers and sisters. 

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 9:00 – 11:00 am at Gotlob-Campbell Funeral & Cremation Service, 539 Race Street, Sunbury, PA, James R. Gotlob, Supervisor. Graveside Service will follow at 11:30 at All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
