Megan L. Miller

SHAMOKIN- Megan L. Miller, 42, of 426 W. Spruce St., passed away suddenly Sunday, May 24, 2026, with her family by her side.

Born August 4, 1983, in Danville to the late George and Lori (Saxton) Long, who survives.

In 2002, Megan graduated from Shamokin Area High School. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Shamokin.

Megan enjoyed working on diamond paintings, going for walks and watching movies. She loved spending time with her family especially her two daughters. She also cherished her quiet time snuggling with the family dogs, ButterScotch, Milky-Way, Buster “Junior”, Atlas, Ruby, and Rocky.

Megan is survived by her husband, Roger Miller of Coal Township; two daughters, Reilley Eisenbaugh of Shamokin, and Dakota Long of Shamokin; her mother, Lori Long of Shamokin; a brother, Jay Long and his wife, April of Sunbury; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her father, Megan is preceded in death by a brother, Jeremy Long; maternal grandfather, Howard Oscar Weimer; maternal grandmother, Virginia Bradigan; and paternal grandparents, Adolf “Ham” and June (Long) Bitting.
