Tammy Yucha

Coal Township – Tammy Yucha, 64, of 1092 St. Rt. 901, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2026 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Tammy was born in Sunbury on June 15, 1961, to the late Alfred Merrill and Harriet (Furman) Merrill, who survives. She attended Shikellamy High School, Sunbury.

She married David Yucha, who preceded her in death.

In addition to her mother, Harriet Daise of Sunbury, Tammy is survived by two sons, Nathan Yucha of Sunbury, and Zachary Yucha of Hegins; a significant other, Nikole Deitrich of Hegins; two grandsons, Brody Yucha, and Luke Yucha; a step grandson, Cole Rothermel; two granddaughters, Alexus Newan, and Samantha Newan; a great grandson, Zahmeire Jackson; and two brothers, Kenneth Merrill and Bruce Pyle. In addition to her father and husband, Tammy is preceded in death by a daughter, Tanya Merrill; and a sister, Kathy Merrill.

Tammy Yucha, 64, of Coal Township- Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
